Beautiful vintage representation of a baby just learning to lift his head. Late 1950s or early 1960s. Silk kimono. Composition covered with gofun (oyster shell paste), hand painted features, glass eyes. Two tiny chips on forehead. Comes with paper toy and orange silk futon. 8" long.

Beautiful rice bowl. It is hand painted. The makers mark on the bottom appears to be Chinese, from the very early 1900s, but the style of the painting is Japanese. Blue plum blossoms on white porcelain. Not made for export to the West. Tiny rim chip on the bottom. 4 1/2" diam x 2" deep.

Export tea cup, commonly called geisha ware or egg shell. Hand painted scene of Japanese ladies in a landscape. Quality is typical for this time period. Tiny rim chip, wear to gold paint, overall good condition. Made in early 1920s. No mark. 2" H x 3 3/4" diam.

From the mid-1950s. 13" H. Small stain on one cheek. No tears. Silk costume is in fine condition. Souvenir of Japan. Samurai are rare in this type of doll. Hand painted facial features on silk. With fan and sword. Mounted on black lacquered wooden stand.

Vintage metal jewelry box with an "antiqued" pewter finish. Image on top shows a stylized colonial couple with their dog. Red fabric lining. Marked with paper "Made in Japan" sticker on bottom. Dates to the mid to late 1940s. Surface can be polished if buyer desires. 1.5" H x 4.5" W.

PT boat on original card. Card back says: Manufactured by Country Wide Adv. Corp., 289 Third Ave., New York, 10, N.Y. and has the union label. Card front says: Kennedy For President. The pin is marked JK60. The PT boat pin itself is based on the 1941 "sweetheart" pins that were given by crew members of the PT boats to loved ones. From my research I think that this was the first pin produced for the 1960 campaign and was handed out by the candidate or his staff...
