From the mid-1950s. 13" H. Small stain on one cheek. No tears. Silk costume is in fine condition. Souvenir of Japan. Samurai are rare in this type of doll. Hand painted facial features on silk. With fan and sword. Mounted on black lacquered wooden stand.

Extremely rare. Purchased at Disneyland in 1958. 6" H x 3" W x 1.5" D. Made in Japan paper label. Broken and reglued at waist, head, tree branch. Ceramic figure with wire & fabric wings, complete, no parts missing. Sold as is. These usually did not survive childhood, when they were spun they would fly off the base. Professional appraisal by Disney expert in August 2005 confirmed rare status.
