This is a Yokut round basket, California - late 19th to early 20th century. It is made of coiled willow and sedge root. The hourglass design is interspersed with stacked diamonds made of redbud and outlined in black brackenfern. There is a band of diamonds made of redbud and brackenfern at the top edge. This basket is a western Yokut round basket, California - late 19th to early 20th century. It is made of coiled willow and sedge root. It has 3 rows of staggered black diamonds made of brakenfern forming a rattlesnake pattern. At opposite sides of the basket, interspersing the rattlesnake pattern, are two vertical bands of stacked diamonds with crosses in the interior of each. They are also made of brakenfern. Dimensions: 7 1/8" x 2 5/8" high. Condition: Very Good.
This is a Yokut cooking basket with bottleneck, California - late 19th to early 20th century. It is made of round coiled willow and sedge root with eight pointed stars in contrasting black of brackenfern. Dimensions: 4 7/8" x 4 5/8" x 2 1/2" high with a 1/2" neck. Condition: Very Good. Note: This tightly woven basket was filled with acorn mush and water to which very hot stones, heated over campfires, were added to cook it.
This is an antique, 14k gold, cigar cutter pendant. The piece is well crafted with a smooth polished finish. The side of the cutter swings outward to allow the cigar to be inserted through the bottom of the piece. When the button is depressed the knife within the piece slices through the cigar. The front of the cutter is monogrammed "JC". This is a great collectible piece that is in excellent condition.
This is a vintage cigar cutter that was made in Germany. D. C. Co GERMANY is stamped on one side and REX ARMAS HAVANA CIGARS on the other. There is some erosion due to age, but the cutter is in good condition. The cuter measures approximately 2 5/8 inches long and 1 1/2 inches at the widest point of the handle, when closed. This cigar cutter is circa 1920s.
This Jadite saucer is made by Fire King in the rare Alice pattern. It measures 6" in diameter and with a pattern similar to Jane Ray on the bottom. Anchor Hocking/Fire-King only produced three items in the Alice pattern from 1945 to 1949 (cup, saucer, and dinner plate). All are hard to find today. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or blemishes.
These forest green cups are in the Charm pattern made by Anchor Hocking from 1950 through 1954. They are distinguished by their square-shape. No chips, cracks, or other damage. In perfect condition! There are 4 available. Buy one or all!
