These Southern Belle all glass base with glass shade lamps were very popular in the 1930's - 1940's, This one is blue and both pieces are in good condition. The cord is in very good condition and the lamp works well. Most of the young girls had these lamps on their dresser. The color is a little lighter than the photo shows. 6-27-2011- We did a careful inspection of the Southern Belle lamp, and found a couple of tiny discrepancies. Vintage Cranberry Candlesticks, a pair. 8 1/4 inches tall with a base measuring 4 1/2 inches. I don't know who made these, but they are heavy, of quality and not new. Flashed cranberry, Diamond point pattern, pressed glass. One stick has a tight crack. Smooth but there (see photo) and can be turned to the back as not to see. Everything else is perfect. Deep color with no wear. Thanks for looking!
