1930's~Carousel Elephants~Pink Satin Glass Powder Jar

This HTF powder jar is shown and described on pages 14-15 in Whitmyer: "Bedroom & Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years". Featuring a lid with an elephant on a pad with six spokes radiating outwards. The unusual base, supported by twelve feet, has six elephants parading around the base of the jar. This rare Art Deco jar was produced, in the 1930's, with fine definition and detail to all of the elephants' features. There is NO DAMAGE to any part of this 2 pc set. Very hard to find in this condition!
