Wheaties~1954~ Miniature License Plates~Western Set

This is a complete unused 1954 Wheaties miniature license plate set with paperwork and shipping envelope. It was shipped from General Mills and was available to anyone with 25¢ cash and a box top from a Wheaties box. There were 4 different sets available • EASTERN SET • SOUTHERN SET • MIDWEST SET • WESTERN SET. This is the WESTERN SET, and the hardest set to find. Each set cost the 25¢ and a box top. Included is the original shipping envelope and all instructions. I think these plates were intended for bicycles and wagons, and maybe just to collect. I remember all the rich kids had these sets when I was 10. The plates are WASHINGTON•OREGON•CALIFORNIA•MONTANA•IDAHO•NEVADA•ARIZONA•UTAH•NEW MEXICO•COLORADO•WYOMING•TEXAS•All from 1954.
