A very attractive sterling sugar and cream jug by Georg Jensen, Denmark in the #235 pattern, size B. Marks for 1945-1977 on the bases. Condition: very good. No damage or engraving. Dimensions: Sugar 5.25" by 4". Creamer 5.25" by 3.75".

Here is an extremely important Chinese Export tea service made during the China Trade Period, c.1785-1840. There is not a lot of information on this silversmith, but there are a few of his articles in various collections and museums around the world. The marks are imitations of the maker's marks of W.Eley, W.Fearn & W.Chawner, together with the British hallmarks of the period with a date letter of P. A very attractive large Art Nouveau, sterling overlay vase by the LaPierre Manufacturing Company, of Newark and New York. They were bought by the International Silver Company in 1929. The base has large engraved leaves which seem to sprout exotic bulbs and flowers until they meet the plain sterling band around the rim. In perfect condition, engraving still clear and sharp. Here is a large sterling tea tray by Gorham in the Chantilly-Countess pattern. In very good condition. Has a 3-letter monogram but its quite decorative, pictured. Fully marked on the underneath, as pictured, with the date letter for 1948. Dimensions: 25.5" by 17.25". Weight: 125 Troy oz.

A fine heavy all-sterling pie server in the Lily pattern (Pat.1902) by The Watson Company, which is now part of Wallace Silversmiths. Stamped with the old pre-1905 mark. Very good condition. Some slight surface abrasions on the blade. No monogram. Dimensions: 9.75" by 3.1". Weight 130 gms.

A good coin silver fiddle pattern butter knife by James Conning of Mobile, Alabama made about 1840. Scrolled monogram which appears to be "B McL". Readable marks, except that Mobile has lost the last three letters through wear. Slight surface abrasions. Length: 7.6".

Here is a wonderful and amusing sterling cheese knife by Whiting with chased figures of a cat and a mouse. It is constructed of a heavy gauge of silver with a spiral stem.. It is a rare article in pristine condition. Dimensions: 7.5" long.

A very pretty and elegant sterling bowl with some of the finest engraving you would ever see. In each of three panels there is a very fine engraving of an elaborate hanging basket with overflowing with various flowers and trailing vines. The other three panels is simple floral engraving. The whole is topped with a Persian- influenced frieze of raised decoration, all bordered with a 14 ct gold band. The workmanship is outstanding. Here is a striking beautiful sterling bowl by the Whiting Company. It is described as repousse in the title, but that was purely descriptive. The floral work on this bowl is applied and chased, which is a much more skilled and painstaking process. These applied flowers and leaves seem to 'grow' out of a background of acid-etched shrubbery.
