craftsman Herbert Taylor, top diameter just shy of 5 3/8 inches, height 2 1/4 inches, weight 7.25 Troy ounces. There are a few very minor scratches but the overall color and condition are excellent. For a nearly identical example, see Chickering number 182, page 168. The floral chasing appears to be Stone's own work.
length 5 7/8 inches, weight 5.78 oz. Troy the six, fine condition, monogram "S" (obverse, Old English), marked with Gorham trademark, "PAT 95 STERLING".
birthday presents circa 1900, length 5 1/8 inches, extraordinary condition, good weight, engraved "Mamie" (script, in bowl). We suspect that these were birthday gifts because each inscription is done in a slightly different style. Since this may well be the last listing for 2008, please allow me to take a moment and wish all of our readers a happy and healthy New Year!
length 9 inches, monogrammed "W" & "D" obverse Old English, gilt tines and bowl, exceptional untouched condition with original factory applied oxidation (please see photos three and four).
length 3 7/8 inches, one minor scratch obverse as shown which we intend to remove posthaste but otherwise in fine condition, no monogram, hammered bowl.
