a splashy if not terribly heavy (2.8 oz. Troy) piece of silver with a well engraved parcel gilt bowl, length 9 1/8 inches. There's tiny bit of waviness to the rear cartouche, mentioned only for the sake of accuracy (this too minor to show up in a photo-- see image four) but the overall condition is superb and it's priced to sell quickly.

Most of the handles have the usual pinprick dents which one might expect in knives from this period; two have some larger dings which we've shown in photo number five. The blades are in fine condition.

length 13 1/2 inches, weight 5 oz Troy, no monogram. Concerning condition, the handle is ever so slightly off vertical and there are some very minor dents in bowl (please see fourth photo). Both of these issues are difficult for my eye to detect, so I do not feel that they need to be addressed. The bust looks pretty much the way it did when this item left the factory in Providence some hundred forty odd years ago. circa 1825, length 8 7/8+ inches, good weight, monogrammed "N" (script, obverse), single struck. One has a minimal amount of tip and pattern wear but with the exception of a small test mark the others are pristine.
