This is a most unusual candle and although the label is missing, I would say this is a Gurley candle! It’s shaped like an egg (open on one side) and there’s a white rooster inside. Egg is yellow and measures 2 ¾” tlal, 2” wide. The little rooster is white and is approximately 1 ½” tall. The wick has not been lit and candle is in very good condition although it does have storage evidence. Really neat collectible!

This is a neat McCoy cookie jar – a large white rooster! He’s in wonderful condition with minor color wear on his comb and he has a couple production McFlaws on front (see photo). The paint is cold paint and it easily “slips” if immersed in water. There are two brush “hairs” in the red color indicating paint “touch-up” but I’m not certain because I had one of these jars several years ago and it also had a brush “hair” in the red color! Produced 1969-72, this is Hull’s large size chicken covered casserole! Lid is shaped like a chicken, bowl has in incised rooster in bottom, measures 11 ½” x 13 ½”, and the bottom is marked: Hull, Oven proof, USA. It’s in wonderful condition – the dry lip on lid has a ¼” slice type chip and the bottom dry (setting) ring has a ¼” slice type chip – not detrimental. I’ve placed an assortment of rooster cocktail napkins in this listing! There are 3 with roosters perched on a glass, 1 with rooster on a stein, 1 printed rooster, and 1 colorfully embroidered rooster. All are in excellent condition, laundered, lightly starched, and ironed.

This is a cute little rooster shaped glass candy container! Measures 4 3/8” tall (at tallest) and is in very good condition – he has a small rough place on his beak and, using a magnifying glass, I couldn’t be certain if it’s production or from “use”. There appears to be some lettering on the bottom of container but I couldn’t see it clearly enough to tell you what it is. At any rate, he’s a cute little rooster and a great addition to a collection.

BEAUTIFUL AND DIFFICULT TO FIND MCCOY PLANTER -- THE ROOSTER ON WHEELBARROW! ROOSTER IS YELLOW WITH BLACK/BROWN ACCENT COLOR AND STILL HAS SOME ORIGINAL ORANGE COLD PAINT ON HIS COMB. SUPER HULL ITEM! THIS IS THE HEN ON NEST CASSEROLE, MARKED ON BOTTOM: OVEN PROOF, BAKE AND SERVE IN THIS DISH, HULL, USA. IT'S IN EXCELLENT CONDITION -- HAS A 1/16" ROUGH SPOT ON TIP OF TAIL FEATHER. HAS COLOR AND COULD BE A TOUCH UP BUT I DON'T THINK SO BECAUSE THERE IS A SMALL PRODUCTION NON-GLAZE PLACE JUST DOWN FROM IT. NOT DETRIMENTAL IN ANY WAY TO THIS REALLY CUTE LITTLE BAKING DISH (WOULD ALSO MAKE A GREAT COOKIE JAR!).
