Pre World War II. It was made by Maruhon in Japan. Some refer to it as cottage ware. Replacements lists this pattern as Maw 1. The color is cream and is decorated with a lovely yellow flower on the lid. I believe this is for Jams or jelly, as most pieces of this I'v seen are tea and breakfast related. Vintage fruit pattern bowl made by Royal Ivory in a neat fruits pattern. Bowl is smakk size, possibly porridge. No chips but ther is a small horizontal crack near the rim, which does not go through (1" long) and the edges are a little scuffy in a few spots, but no chips. Height 2 5/8" with a diameter of 4 1/4".
Wonderful and hard to find luncheon or dinner plate made by Aynsley in the Rutherglen 7638 pattern with cobalt blue trim. Made of fine china in England. THis plate is so pristine. No chips, cracks, stains, or utensil marks. and the lavish gold accenting is brilliant. Pretty pink rose center, and cobalt piecrust edging. It is nearly impossible to find replacement pieces to these. I unfortunately just have the one.
A wonderful old Golden Maize pitcher by Sebring china. Holds 48 ounces and is 6 3/4" tall. Beautiful poppies adorn both sides and under the lip. Transfers are bright and crisp colored.Rope edging on the trim. Perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Minor discolor on the extreme inside bottom. Dated July 19, 1927.
From the 1950's comes this beautiful ceramic coffee pot made in the Dogwood pattern for the Orchard Ware line of dinnerware produced by the California Ceramics Co. in Calabasas, California. The relief pattern of white dogwood, brown stems and green leaves are hand painted over an off white background. The coffee pot is in perfect condition with no chips or scratches.
