A great vintage 50's salad set probably made of monkey pod. Made in the Philippines. Large pineapple shaped serving bowl with 8 matching individual salad bowls with fork & spoon salad servers. Very very nice set with no scratches. A great set! I will throw in as a bonus.. an extra matching pineapple bowl that is just a little larger than the individual salad bowls (not in the photo). Remember when we were all chewing bubble gum? These little gum saver dishes were cool. This one is made of stoneware and is a little man lieing on his back. Never seen this one before!! Some call them gum parkers, gum holders,gum savers, but whatever you call them.. they kept your previously chewed gum handy till you were ready to chew it again! He measures 2 1/2" long, and his tummy is glazed so the gum doesn't stick. He is perfect with no damages.
He appears to be a Native, and is made of wood with tufts of yarn for hair. These nutcracker heads were very popular in the 1950s. You hold a nut in the mouth and twist the notched wooden peg that comes through the bottom until it squeezes the nut so tight that shells crack. He measures 5" tall and is in excellent condition. Retro eye glaases case has a gold tone metal frame, snap closure and hard vinyl covered surface. Avacado green print. Overall good condition with gentle wear. No rips or damages.
Adorable retro cat eye glasses are for a lady and has pretty detailing on the corners. No brand name I can see, on them. Well made frames. Measures 5" from corner to corner. Nice condiion. These were perscription. My reading glasses are a 2.75 strength, and the strenght is compareable because I can see through these perfectly!
Older carved onyx bird appears to be a dove or pigeon. Mottled tan color Mexican onyx. No breaks ,cracks or chips. Measures 4" tall and about 5 1/2" long. Has one wing up and the other down.
Vintage, Gently used fine qualiity hand painted ladies mules size 9M by Via Blue Via Couture. Hand signed by the artist inside. Square toe mule style, with a western flair. A hand painted Texas longhorn steer on each. Worn just once. You will just love these awesome shoes!
Cherished Teddies Village cottag house - 1997/Camille's Quilt Shop. Artist: P. Hillman. 1 of 8 in the series. They were Mail order only and never made it to the stores. Hard to find! These are selling in the 125.00 range in the original box. This one DOES NOT have the box but is in excellent condition. Measures 4" tall. Base measures approx 5" x 5 1/2". Very detailed.
THis pretty compact has a mirror on one side and the other side was made to either hold a square powder puff or was intended for business cards. Goldtone in color and the top has an enamel decoration of a purple iris and a rayed pattern. Measured 3 5/8" long and 2 1/4" tall. Sleek, slim design. Shiny nice condition. No pits, rust or dings. There are faint light scratches on the back, which can be seen only with close inspection. Snap closure is nice and tight.
These are probably 50's, original cat eye glasses with pretty rhinestone accents which look like shooting stars. The rhinestones the front part of the earpieces also. Excellent condition, and not loose at all. They have perscription lenses in them right now. Measures 4 3/4" across the front hinge to hinge. Approx 5 1/4" ear piece. Bridge is 1" at bottom.Bakelite type plastic,and sturdy Not a blemish.. these are great classy frames.
