Oval wall hanging with aladys bust. Green trim. Measures 3 3/8" x 4 1/8". Holes with original ribbon for hanging. It has the early mark, a lower case b inside a C for Betty Cleminson. Perfect condition other than some crazing which is normal for this age and type of pottery.

When I purchased this piece of Cleminson Pottery at an estate sale many years ago, I had absolutely no idea of its purpose or what it was supposed to hold!

After I listed this item for sale, a very knowledgeable Cleminson Pottery collector told me it is a cigarette packs holder or "Smokes Holder". It is designed to hang on the wall and cigarette packs are placed inside to be removed from the bottom. Who would have thought!! Thank you Richard!!

California pottery lady figurine has all of the characteristics of a Yona or Ynez pottery piece. Then it also has the heart shape lips. Yona worked with Heidi Schoop then later did her own ceramics. This little lady wears apink dress has a bouquet of pink roses and a lacy shoulder trim of lace. Lace is for the most part in wonderful condition with just a very small area chipped off. Nice fat range shakers measure just over 3 1/2" tall and have the original stoppers. Decorated with crock shop's grapes and vines pattern. Wonderful condition with no cracks, chips or repairs.
