REALLY NICE MCCOY DARK GREEN PEPPER COOKIE JAR! INTRODUCED IN 1972, THIS IS THE LARGER, MORE SQUARE SHAPE PEPPER. MARKED ON BOTTOM WITH MT. CLEMENS MARK AND THE NUMBER 157. JAR MEASURES ABOUT 10 1/2" FROM BOTTOM TO TOP OF HANDLE AND 7" DIAMETER. HAS NO CHIPS OR CRACKS, VERY LIGHT CRAZING. Made in 1973, this McCoy pitcher and bowl set is somewhat difficult to find!
The set is in a pretty dark hunter green with shiny over-glaze. It has a tall (clipper) ship on each side of the pitcher.
Pitcher measures 8" tall (a tallest) and is marked on bottom: 7512, McCoy (in circle with lines), USA.
The bowl is oval shaped ad measures 11 1/2" long, 9 1/4" wide, and 2 3/4" tall.
Both pieces are in wonderful condition neither piece has chips, dings, cracks, or crazing.... Click for details
