Made by Blackinton whose three part "R," "B with a sword through it," and "Co.," all in individual rectangles, "Sterling," model number "5105," and "2 oz.," are stamped on the bottom, this jigger stands 2 1/4" tall, has a top diameter of 1 3/4", and weighs 1.0 T. oz.

Also identified as a shot "glass," this is a double shot size.

Plain-walled, it has a tapered body with a splayed lip. The outside has a bright finish, while the inside and underside have brushed finishes.

Dating from the first third of the 20th century when such items enjoyed widespread popularity, this solid silver tea infuser is stamped "Sterling," "Amcraft" (American Metal Crafts Company), and "Attleboro Mass" on the underside.

It is in the form of a teapot, with a 2" long chain ending in a 3/4" diameter ring attached to the center of the domed lid.

Measuring 1 3/4" at the widest and 1" at the highest, it weighs just over .6 T. oz. (19 grams).

Measuring 1 3/4" tall and 2" wide, this 2.0 T. oz. silver napkin ring with an applied rim top and bottom is decidedly more substantial than most examples of the form.

It was made by Gorham whose "standing lion, anchor, G" emblem, "Sterling," and model number "1675" are imprinted on the inside wall.

It is engraved in a floral rosette, leaf and scroll design that is Aesthetic, i.e. Eastlake, in manner, suggesting a date circa 1885.

marked only "sterling 4," these are probably Whiting or Gorham, circa 1868. They are of exceptional quality and workmanship, each arm comprising a grapevine (complete with added "age" marks!) with two applied grape leafs and a dangling cluster of grapes. A splendid example of Victoriana, and similar in theme to cheese scoops with figural mice, as their form defines their function.

Though it may only win second prize in a beauty contest, the price is attractive and we've certainly seen uglier ones.
