Offered is a very nice antique box for a necklace, from West Virginia jeweler Harry M. Fisher, who commenced business in 1912. It's a bit under 9 1/2 inches long. It probably dates to about 1912-25. There are a few stains and signs of wear, but overall it is in fairly good condition for its age, with a staple on one side, presumably to reinforce the hinge. Such boxes are very hard to find, and house antique pieces beautifully. All in all a lovely and useful box for the Southern material cult...

The saucer measures about 10.7 cm across and is in nice condition aside from one small nibble and a few tiny...

Offered is a really nicely made and preserved American coin silver teaspoon by noted silversmith Isaac Garrison, circa the 1850s. Mr. Garrison had a spoon and fork manufactory for a time, and made coin silver flatware both for his own retail operation as well as a wholesaler to many regional jewelers. This spoon bears one of his wholesaler marks, but it may have been sold by Mr. Garrison's shop given the absence of a retailer's mark. This piece also has a well-done period engraved script mono...

This spoon is engraved in period script with the initials "BS" and has a legible maker's mark, as well as a very interesting pseudo-hallmark of a star or sun, which doesn't normally appear on this partnership's silver, and which is not documented in McGrew's "Manufacturers' Marks on American Coin Silver". Offered is a nice 19th Century French first standard silver teaspoon in the French form of fiddle pattern, also known as Uniplat. This teaspoon has a mark very similar to one given in standard references for Etienne-Henri Sanoner (see last picture), and it is likely the mark on this spoon was also his. Offered is a very rare and fine English Georgian sterling silver egg spoon, crested and bearing a maker's mark for noted silversmith John Lambe and a lion passant mark. The mark placement indicates this spoon was made prior to 1781, which makes it very early indeed for this particular form. This piece is crested with a bust of a stag and there are traces of gilding left in the bowl. This piece measures about 4 3/4 inches in length and weighs a good 14 grams. It could be a very large dry must...

Offered is a nice American coin silver teaspoon marked PURE COIN and JOHN.B.SCOTT; there were jewelers by that name working in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and New York City in the era this spoon would have been made, circa 1850, and the style is indeterminate, so I'm not certain where this spoon was made, though I'd lean toward New York City based upon style. This spoon is engraved in period script for the original owner and has a most legible maker's mark. It measures about 6 inches long and we...
