Offered is a fine German parcel-gilt beaker, probably circa 1825-75, bearing the silver standard mark of 13 loth, denoting 812/1000 fineness, and a maker's mark of a script-like "B." This piece bears finely executed grape-and-vine decoration, and and period script "H" owner's monogram in a shield. Condition overall is very good, with little or no dimpling and no splits; there appears to be a small repair to the body, but it is too well done to capture in a photograph...
