Offered is a good pair of American coin silver table spoons by the Boston partnership of James Boynton and Philip R. Woodford, working as Boynton & Woodford between about 1837 and 1854. Each tablespoon has a clear maker's mark or retailer's mark, as well as a PURE COIN mark. Each of these spoons also has a well-executed period script engraved "LEM" monogram. These spoons measure a little under 9 inches in length on average, and the pair weighs a total of about 80 grams. Condition is fair overall, with modest tip wear and some small dents and dings, but no splits or repairs. All in all a nice example of this partnership's mark!
