Cliff Nunn - Antique Silver and Decorative Arts
Pair of Heavy Coin Silver Spoons by Daniel Cunningham, Circa 1840
SOLD
Offered is a good heavy pair of American coin silver teaspoons with a set of New York manufacturer's marks and the retailer's mark of jeweler Daniel Cunningham of New York City, circa 1840. The marks on these spoons are clear and well-struck. There are no monograms, and it is likely that there were some that were buffed off at some point. These teaspoons measure about 6 1/8 inches in length and the pair weighs about 48 grams altogether. All in all a nice example of this scarce mark!
