Offered is a pair of early 19th Century American coin silver teaspoons by David B. Cumming of Philadelphia, working there circa 1810-15. These teaspoons are transitional fiddle in form, without shoulders. They measure about 5 7/16 inches in length, and weigh a total of about 30 grams. Condition is fair at best in that they have unfortunately been buffed, and have therefore lost their monograms and patina, and have rubbed maker's marks. Nonetheless, they are perfectly useful for one's morning coffee, and are over two centuries old - surely worth saving from the melting pot! All in all a nice old pair of Philadelphia coin silver spoons with a scarce maker's mark!
