Offered is a lovely pair of Baltimore coin silver teaspoons by Samuel Kirk, circa 1833-34. See Imperial Half Bushel's excellent article on Baltimore assay marks for more on how to date pieces bearing such marks - http://www.imperialhalfbushel.com/BaltimoreAssayMarks.htm).

These teaspoons have very clear maker's marks and assay marks, and have nicely executed period script monograms. They measure about 5 3/4 inches in length and the pair weighs about 34 grams. Condition overall is excellent with minimal wear and no dents, splits or repairs. There is some minor fire scale primarily on one spoon. All in all a great example of Baltimore dominical/assay marks on nicely made period spoons!
