Set of Georgian Silver-Gilt and Mother of Pearl Forks (2) & Knife (1)

Offered is a beautiful group of Georgian gilt silver and mother of pearl dessert pieces, comprising two forks measuring about 6 1/4 inches in length and one knife measuring about 8 inches in length; the group weighs about 100 grams altogether. The handles are natural mother of pearl of high quality, and are in good condition. Condition overall on these pieces is very good, with wear to the gilding but no other significant issues. There are no armorials or monograms. These pieces bear the maker's mark of William Eley and William Fearn, and appear to be hallmarked for 1818. All in all a fine set of two-hundred year old pieces of dessert cutlery!
