Good Philadelphia Coin Silver Spoon by Butler & McCarty, Ca. 1850-61

Offered is a very nice American coin silver teaspoon by the noted Philadelphia partnership of Butler & McCarty, in business circa 1850-61. This spoon has a clear, well-struck maker's mark and a period engraved script "LT" monogram. It measures about 5 7/8 inches in length and weighs about 14 grams. Condition is excellent, with minimal wear and no dents, splits or repairs. A great example of the form!
