Gorgeous Decorated 18th Century Teaspoon by Ebenezer Moulton of Boston

Offered is a beautifully made and preserve American coin silver teaspoon by Boston silversmith Ebenezer Moulton (1768-1824), circa 1790-1800. This spoon is expertly engraved and bears lovely fluted period script initials "LH" for the original owner. It also has Mr. Moulton's maker's mark to the reverse. This piece measures about 5 1/2 inches in length and weighs a very good 14 grams. Condition is superb, with virtually no wear and zero damage or repairs. All in all a wonderful example of late 18th Century coin silver flatware!
