Offered is a lovely decorated coin silver spoon dating to about 1805-1809, the period New York City silversmith Thaddeus Keeler (1787-1813) was working alone. This piece is nicely engraved with period script initials "JRB" and the decoration on the handle is quite unusual. It is also marked with Mr. Keeler's maker's mark to the reverse. This piece measures about 6 inches in length and weighs about 15 grams. Condition is very good overall, with one tiny shallow dimple in the bowl but no notable dents and no splits or repairs. All in all a lovely piece!
