length 7 3/8 inches, weight .71 oz. Troy, excellent condition with tight clasp and properly functioning safety.

We've bought and sold many Jensen bracelets over the years and are well aware of the insults which they often suffer, but this one is free of deep scratches, hasn't been excessively polished, and has a wonderful smokey gray color.

chalcedony if I am not mistaken and yes there is only one. There are a few slight dimples which are not visible to the naked eye, but they certainly show up here.

Also, please keep in mind that although it looks like Godzilla up there on your screen, this item is only 3/4 by 1/2 inches.

Glendenning was by his own telling a street kid from Gardner who discovered Stone's workshop, became enthralled with the goings on there, and was taken in by the great master of American Arts & Crafts silver as an apprentice. The youngest of the original members, he is said to have claimed that "Stone made me a silversmith and made me a gentleman."

In 1936, he left to form a partnership with George Erickson, which lasted until 1971...

At the risk of damaging our much vaunted "brand" here at BCAS, let's set aside the pricey designer goods and feature something by nobody, or at very best the 18th silversmith to be registered in Taxco, circa 1979, a great year, I remember it well....

Length 16 3/4 inches, of exceptional weight (2.63 Troy ounces) and quality, in excellent condition with firmly functioning clasp, this is equivalent of anything you'll find by Margot or other well known Mexican designers at a fraction of the ...

probably a crest and we suspect Missouri-related given the maker. Great quality and weight; the condition is unassailable when viewed from the front but from the reverse (see second photo) it is obvious that there have been some different findings attached in years past... 2 5/8 by 2 1/8 inches, no monogram, marked "Mermod & Jaccard / Solid Silver".

looks rather like the work of Antonio Pineda but marked only Taxco 925 (see fourth photo), length 15 inches. Since it just barely fits the neck of Yours Truly, we'd hoped to have him as a model but when our photographer showed up he had run off to the wood shed, forcing us to use a stand-in.

with applied cat tail, bird and foliage. Although our picture fails to show it well, the bird and cat tail are red, the foliage gold. No doubt the next question out of your mouth will be, "Bruce, is this bi-color gold, or just copper and brass?" Alas I do not know and am not inclined to put a drop of acid on the item to find out. The finely engraved detail on each appliqué is typically done with gold...

length 8 1/4 inches, weight 2.26 Troy ounces or 70.5 grams if you like to think that way, excellent condition, unmarked. We bought this out of a suite and the other pieces had the "PBD sterling 14k" mark, but they weren't terribly attractive...

"God save our gracious Queen, Long live our Noble Queen" and I'll spare you the rest. Just be grateful that we don't have MP-3 files jangling away in the background! Here, the Queen is applied in gold on a field of concentric circles to a pair of round sterling cufflinks just shy of 5/8 inches in diameter. No monogram, very good condition, maker's mark SJR, London 1952.
