This large (2 1/2 inch diameter; weight 31.7grams), early brooch is not pictured in Drucker, nor is it listed anywhere else which we can find on this World Wide Web. The reverse is marked and engraved as shown in our third enlargement. There are some minor scratches on the reverse, but the part that meets your eye is in excellent condition. As to whether the recipient was the Nina Hellman who was born in Milan, MI, lived from 1903-90, and was married to the Pacific Coast banterweight boxing champion, we are unable to say.
What we can say is that for the collector of Jensen jewelry, here's an opportunity to own something which very few others possess.
