There are some minor surface scratches on the back of the bowl which we've exaggerated using light and magnification. If these make you unhappy, just say the word and I'll give this item a light buff before shipping.

One final note: the bowl of this ice cream spoon is unusually deep, and we suspected that it might hold a significant quantity of ice cream. Not wanting to saddle customers with an untested product, we gave it a try, and our suspicions proved to be true.
