JAMES CANDY CO. Paper Mache BARREL BANK, Original Box

This really great Paper Mache Barrel Bank was made for 'The James Candy Co' for Salt Walter Taffy, Atlantic City, NJ. The Bank has a tin lid. On the lid is JAMES - ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - CUT TO FIT THE MOUTH. The Bank measures 7 inches high X 5 1/4 inches in diameter. It held 1 pound of Taffy. Stamped on the bottom: US PAT NO. 122396. The Bank is in great condition with no holes or tears. The box is really good. All writing is very good. I would guess this came from the Boardwalk in Atlantic City possibly in the 1950s.
