Vintage Pottery Basket Planter

This listing has another beautiful pottery piece that does not have a manufacturer's name -- it is simply marked Made in USA inside what appears to be a shield (I think it's shaped like a large, somewhat flattened acorn).

The basket design appears to be overlapping,upraised leaves that are all around the basket portion.

It measures 8" tall (bottom to top of handle), basket is 8 1/4" long and 6 1/2" wide. It is a soft green or aqua color.

Planter is in wonderful condition with no chips, no dings, no cracks. It has very light age crazing. The handle has a couple typical pin-pops -- they are production and of no consequence to use or to appearance.

This is a beautiful item that has been a part of my vintage pottery collection for a number of years.
