Peabody Coal Sunnyhill Mine 1984-85 Winter Alert Cup Made by McCoy

This listing has a cup from Peabody Coal Company’s Sunnyhill Mine. Sunnyhill Mine was located in Ohio and it has been closed for quite a while.

It is a safety training award from their 1984-85 Winter Alert. Cup measures 2 ¾” tall and is in excellent condition.

It has the original care instructions included – the instructions are for the proper care of the “thermochromic effects” (artwork) on the cup.

Bottom of the cup is marked USA and although not marked McCoy, as a long-time McCoy collector and having the largest McCoy inventory for sale by an individual (my website) on the internet, I can tell you that it is McCoy which makes this cup doubly collectible.
