VINTAGE BLACK NETTING HAIR BONNET

It’s been a while since I’ve seen one of these hair bonnets! Originally designed to protect a lady’s “hair-do” – all the ladies would put on one of these bonnets before exiting the beauty parlor/salon!

These bonnets were styled large enough that they wouldn’t squish that just rolled/curled and teased hair (this style was also used for plastic rain bonnets!).

Anyway, the bonnet in this listing is upscale fancy with little black dots all over. As an added bonus, in a pinch it could be called into service as a head covering for chapel. Very neat retro item!

Scarf has been hand laundered and lightly pressed (by me).
