Lifes Riches Sampler Printed Cross Stitch Kit NOS

This listing has a new old stock printed sampler kit titled “Life’s Riches”!

Kit was made by Needles ‘N Hoops and is number 457.

Per package: “Easy –To-Do-Sampler Kit contains design clearly printed on first quality linen weave fabric, an ample supply of embroidery floss, needle and color-coded instructions.”

I opened the package to remove the needle (I read that leaving needles in fabric can cause rust) and I have no idea what I did with it so do be aware the kit does not have a needle.

The finished size (per cover insert) is 12” x 14” without mat.

The sampler quote is: “Life’s riches other rooms adorn But it’s in a kitchen where home is born”.

The center focal point is of a home opened on one side (like a doll house) with very detailed interior. It has 2 floors and 2 rooms located in the attic.

The first floor has a kitchen and living room (or parlor), second floor has a bathroom and bedroom, and the attic has a bedroom and a storage room.

Even the outside has lots of detail – flower boxes, porch, and lattice wood-work around foundation – just so much to see each time you look!

I purchased this kit from the long established and well known mail-order (before internet access) sewing and quilting supply company. The kit did not come in a plastic sack/package – it came to me in a brown paper sack stapled closed at the top. I opened it to remove the needle and placed the kit in my “projects that I want to do closet” and there it has remained until I opened it again to take photos for this listing.

Of all the sewing kits I have listed, this one is my favorite – I believe it will be yours too!
