One Dozen Vintage Poland Christmas Ornaments IOB

This listing has beautiful vintage Christmas ornaments! There are one dozen glass ornaments in their original box. Per box, they are “Hand Blown and Decorated Tree Ornaments”.

The caps have aged; losing a lot of their original silver color so it is difficult to see but Poland is visible on some of the caps. They also have the tiny “bump” at the bottom of each ornament indicative of hand blown ornaments.

The colors are white, gold, pink and green and each ornament is decorated with green Christmas trees outlined in silver “glitter” – 3 trees in a group and a single tree on each ornament.

These ornaments are in very good vintage condition; they are vintage and will not be in new, mint condition. There are some dark dots (not unusual and often caused by use of spray “snow”).

When I purchased them, the hangers had been left on the ornaments when stored. I removed them, put them in a small baggie, and placed it inside the box. While handling each ornament to remove the hangers, I noticed that the metal caps are loose on some of the ornaments – none pulled out of the ornaments but they are loose. They can be removed, tightened, and reinserted on the ornaments if you so choose. I also noticed that some of the necks have darkened (not unusual on vintage ornaments and caused by the metal loops/hanging loops).

Do not be deterred by my description. These really are lovely ornaments and should continue to be treasured additions to any vintage Christmas ornament collection. Do remember that vintage ornaments are just that – vintage – and as such will have evidence of a prior owner(s) having loved and used them.
