McCoy Pottery Orange on Leaf Planter

For whatever reason, McCoy's fruit on leaf planters are more difficult to find than the fruit wall pockets! This listing is the orange on leaf and like most of the oranges, it has lost the original orange color cold paint -- so it's a pretty yellow color!

Unfortunately, the fruit on leaf planters are seldom found without some degree of "use" evidence. This one has no serious issues but it is not perfect. The leaf has 3 little places that have been bumped and the green glaze has come off. These bumps are teeny (like flea bites) and I do not consider them to be detrimental. Do be aware that this planter is as described, any additional white places on leaf are simply camera light reflections on the shiny clear over-glaze.

There is one that measures 7/16" long at a leaf tip and could could be repaired and they could all be color "touched up" if you chose to do so.

This is a nice planter for a small cactus, a violet, or use as a plant starter. I have an apple on a leaf that I use to hold a kitchen scouring pad. It's handy and displays pretty on my sink.
