McCOY POTTERY 9 INCHES TALL AQUA VASE

This is a beautiful older unmarked McCoy vase!

Made in the 1940’s, it measures 9 1/8” tall and is a rich aqua color with shiny glaze.

This is a heavy vase, is a somewhat difficult find, and is from my personal McCoy collection.

It is not mint condition but the imperfections weren’t serious enough to prevent my purchasing it years ago! It has a ¾” super tight hairline at rim – it’s fine as a pencil mark or craze mark. The dry (setting) ring has a slice type chunk missing – see photo – and it has a couple smaller ones. My guess is there were attached pottery flakes (clunks) that prevented the vase from setting level and a prior owner chipped them off – removing a little more than intended.

Do not be deterred by my description – this is a beautiful vase, seldom found on the secondary market.
