Vintage Sterling silver marcasite shoe pin

This beautiful shoe pin is covered with marcasite. It glistens with the tiny stones set in sterling silver. It is marked on the back,925, 'FAS'. The pin is in wonderful condition. It has a great patina which is still in place. Approximate size: 1 1/2 inches wide . I have no idea of the age.
