Asahi Peacock Plate Vintage Japanese Display Plate Cobalt Blue Peacocks 1930s Japan Porcelain Decorative Plate. Made of Ceramic.Beautiful Large Plate/Platter featuring two Majestic Peacocks among big & bright flowers. The colors are so vivid in this plate with cobalt blue, pinks, yellow, and orange - all shown in the peacocks one with his feathers on display while the hen takes notice. The plate has a floral border using those same colors and a thick blue scalloped edge. Once a sticker identifying it as "Asahi Japan"(means Morning Sun in Japanese) and stamped with a Japanese marking. Condition: Great, no nicks, chips, or cracks. Measurements: 12 5/8"D (inches)
