Lefton little tureen with underplate childs? or jelly server

Mini Server - Lefton 4668 China Dish with attached underplate and lid but no spoon. Could be used as sugar dish,for jam or any condiment. I always thought these were mini tureens for a child's dish set but maybe not. This item is hand painted from Japan. Beautiful floral design of roses and mixture of other flowers in pink and red. The two handles on the bowl and the handle of the lid, as well as the trim on lid and underplate are nicely embellished in gold. Mid Century. 1 small chip on the lid. Bottom is stamped "Lefton China. Hand Painted. #4668 with the Lefton Makers Mark with sticker also. Measures 3 1/2" T 6"L 3 1/2"W and Weighs 11oz. This would make a nice gift for your friend, family or yourself. It displays well and is functional on any table. Very nice item for everyday family use.
