Fine Italian J.I. Co Murano Mid-Century Venetian Art Glass ashtray

Large beautiful art glass ashtray could probably be used as a cigar ashtray also. Measures 3 1/4" tall and measures 6 1/4" diagonally at its widest point. The coloring is gorgeous. and it is in phenominal condition with no damages or blemishes. This is a beautiful piece of art glass decor from the J. I. Company of Murano, Italy J. I. Co (Jordan's Importing Company) operated in the 1950s / 1960s, producing and selling fine hand made Venetian glass Much of the art glass with the JI label was designed by JI's owner, Jack Blanco, and manufactured in its factory in Murano, Italy. The art glass pieces were sold in America via its showroom in New York City at 23rd and 5th. This one does not have the label but is definitely from J.I. Co
