Mums pattern bread and butter plate Measures: 5 1/4" in diameter. Marked on the bottom in green: R.C. Versailles with a symbol of crossed swords & a crown.Creamy white porcelain with a pretty design of mixed color mums on the stems with leaves. Scalloped rim has an interesting shape. Gold edge accent trim on rim.No chips or cracks that I can find. A nice addition to any collection. R. C. Bavaria

Founded in 1879 in Selb Bavaria by Phillip Rosenthal, the company is still in existence today producing high quality porcelain. R. C. with Crossed Sticks with a Crown. with Versailles Bavaria below. This mark dates to 1898 -1906. it is also credited to Philip Rosenthal & Co., which has the same dates of 1898-1906. “Versailles” refers to the shape, which was made with many different decorations.
