$2,750.00 Price for the Entire 74 Pieces.

Colonial Williamsburg commissioned Baltimore's Stieff Company (later Kirk-Stieff) to produce the revivalist Queen Anne line of flatware, which was introduced in 1940 and sold through "CW."

Queen Anne is a Hanoverian design with a rounded-end, upturned handle with a midrib and a rattail bowl back.

A companion pattern, Williamsburg Shell was added in 1970.

This offering is for an original, estate set of 12 complete, 5 piece, place settings in Queen Anne, along with 8 serving items and 6 additional dessert spoons, for a total of 74 pieces.

All items are marked for "Stieff," "Sterling," and with the "Williamsburg Restoration" oval emblem.

The item counts and specifics are as follows:

(12) 10 1/8" long knives with pistol grip handles and blunt end blades marked "Stieff Sterling Handle Stainless Blade."

(12) 7 3/4" dinner forks, combined weight 24.6 T. oz.

(12) 5 11/16" teaspoons, combined weight 12.6 T. oz.

(18) 6 3/4" dessert or oval soup spoons, combined weight 32.8 T. oz.

(12) 5 3/8" oyster cocktail forks, combined weight 7.3 T. oz.

(4) 8 7/8" serving spoons, combined weight 8.9 T. oz. Note: these have thumb drops on the backs of the bowls and are imprinted "Sterling-Stieff" rather than with the inset "Stieff-Sterling" of the other items, and may be older pieces.

(2) 8 3/8" four-tine serving forks, combined weight 4.7 T. oz.

Pistol grip sterling handle 9 3/8" two tine carving fork and 10 1/4" carving knife.

The solid silver pieces together weigh 90.9 T. oz., and the hollow handle items add an estimated additional 8.0 T. oz., for a total silver content of approximately 99 T. oz.

Never monogrammed, this set is essentially in original estate condition. It is offered "as is," meaning it has not been polished and does call for cleaning, although with a lack of deep tarnish and the smooth surfaces, this should be straightforward.
