$135.00

Standing 3 3/8" tall to the top of the finial, 3 3/8" at the widest to the edge of the handle, and weighing just under 4.0 T. oz. this solid silver mustard pot was made by Providence, Rhode Island's Howard Sterling Company and retailed by Boston's Shreve, Crump, & Low according to the stamps on the underside. Additional marks include "Sterling," "925/1000," "4522," and "Pat '93."

Traditional in style, this has six paneled sides, rests on a footed base, has a beaded border on the upper rim, and a double cee scroll, solid handle. It is engraved "GS" in flowing script lettering.

It is in extra fine condition. There are two very shallow dimples in the walls of the body, but in sum all surfaces are remarkably smooth and the piece overall has a brilliant finish. The lid fits smoothly and the hinge is secure.
