$22.00 Price per piece, 3 available.

One of three matching pieces, this teaspoon is large scaled, measuring 6" long and weighing .8 T. oz.

A "Tipt," aka "Fiddle Tipt," pattern, the handle has an upturned end, high, rounded shoulders off the bowl, and a plain drop on the backside.

The handle reverse is engraved with a fancy script letter "AMC" monogram.

Coin silver, it is marked "C.C. Williams." and "Pure Coin," which is a term typical of New England.

Williams is absent from standard references, but a publication from the Maine State Museum in Augusta, Maine, identifies him as Charles C., a jeweler, watch maker, and silversmith working in Bangor, Maine, 1859-90.

Well-crafted and in exceptionally fine condition with a rich finish, this is an outstanding example of the form and period from a rarely found source.
