$115.00

Marked with Gorham's "lion, anchor, G" emblem, "Sterling," and model number "80," this pair of grape shears aka scissors have a novel design.

They have matching, 1" diameter, round grips that are joined to curved arms with faceted surfaces and a bullseye detail where they cross.

Blunt ended, one of the arms is fitted at the end with a steel cutting edge.

Illustrated in Gorham's 1892 catalogue, they measure 5 1/2" long overall and weigh 2.0 T. oz., which includes the minor value of the steel.

There is a block letter "S" engraved on one arm with a matching "W" on the flanking arm.

In choice condition, they are without bends, the hinge is tight and operates smoothly, and the finish is bright. The only signs of use are light surface scratches.
