Specialized implements, toast or bread forks typically follow after the form of this 6 1/4" long, approximately .8 T. oz. (23 grams), example with three long tines and a relatively short handle.
Late Victorian in style and hollow, it has a Pointed Antique handle with raised Scroll and Leaf detailing on the shoulders of the tine area.
The tines are pointed and tapered, with the outer two wavy.
The handle backside is engraved in an elegant, feathered script, "K.J.W." monogram.
The shoulder reverse is stamped with a rubbed triangular emblem, which could indicate any of a number of makers, "Sterling," and model number "1220."
In very good condition, this is without dents, splits, or bends, and the finish is even. There is one shallow pinprick dimple on the handle front.
