$100.00 Price for the set of six.

The spoon represented in the above image is one of a set of six matched pieces that measure 4 5/16" long each and weigh 2.6 T. oz. the group.

They present with something of a mystery.

Coffee spoons, the pattern matches Whiting's Renaissance Revival Arabesque pattern in every detail, save the backside of the bowls are stamped "800," which represents a German silver standard used prior to 1886 (Arabesque was issued in 1875).

Whether these were a direct copy manufactured by a German maker, or possibly taken from a common design source, or left unmarked for export and re-stamped is an open question.

At least one other instance of similarly marked Arabesque pieces can be found through an internet search, so these are not isolated examples.

Each of the six is monogrammed with a high Victorian, leaf script style, "P" monogram in the reserve on the handle front.

The bowl interiors and entire backsides retain traces of original gold washes.

In flawless condition, pattern detail remains well-defined, absent polishing wear. The bowls are without bends, dents, burrs, or tip wear, and the overall finishes are warm and even.
