Southern Belle Blue Dresser Lamp With Glass Shade

These Southern Belle all glass base with glass shade lamps were very popular in the 1930's - 1940's, This one is blue and both pieces are in good condition. The cord is in very good condition and the lamp works well. Most of the young girls had these lamps on their dresser. The color is a little lighter than the photo shows. 6-27-2011- We did a careful inspection of the Southern Belle lamp, and found a couple of tiny discrepancies. The is a flake on the shade where the knob tightens on the bulb holder, and a tiny flake off the skirt ruffle at the bottom.
