Issued in 1900, Alvin's "Majestic" was a multi-motif line of Art Nouveau flatware that featured a variety of floral themes.

This example is a 5 5/8" long, substantial weight at approximately 1.3 T. oz., cream or sauce ladle.

The flower is narcissus or daffodil and is represented by a number of blossoms on the handle front and leaves and buds on the backside.

The 1 7/8" wide by 1 1/2" back to front by 1/2" deep bowl has three lobes and a scalloped edge.

This weighty, 5.3 T. oz., oval bowl impresses with its 3 7/8" high, upswept pair of arms attached to a 4 3/4" by 3 3/4" oval body that sits on a 2 3/4" by 2 1/4" footed base.

It was made by "Tiffany & Co.," so marked on the underside, along with "Sterling Silver," "925/1000," "C" (for director Charles T. Cook, 1902-07), and model number "15298" introduced in 1902, and order number "5156."

A cream or sauce ladle, it measures 5 3/4" long and is relatively heavy at 1.5 T. oz.

One of Unger Brothers renowned, early 20th century, Art Nouveau designs, "Cupid's Sunbeams" features the faces of two cherubic looking, probably female, figures.

They are surrounded by trailing leaves that flow up the length of the handle of this 5 15/16" long, .9 T. oz., teaspoon.

Each of these two forks measures 7" long and, while not identical, are matching.

The pattern is Whiting's 1885 high relief "Lily of the Valley" with blunt ends.

One of the two has a script "S" monogram on the handle reverse, weighs just under 1.1 T. oz., and is marked with the Whiting "lion" logo and "Sterling."

A 9 7/8" long, 2.5 T. oz., item, this cake saw is an early production example of Gorham's "Buttercup" pattern, marked with the company's "lion, anchor, G" emblem, "Sterling," and "Patent 1900."

It is solid silver, with a flat handle, and upper sawtooth edge blade, which is the defining characteristic of this form. The shoulders are embellished with the same leaf and flower components as the design.

Essentially a very large tea or coffee cup, this novel item measures 4" in diameter, has a maximum span of 5 1/2" to the handle end, stands 2 1/8" tall to the rim and 2 5/8" to highest point, sits on a rimmed base that is 2 3/16" wide, and weighs just under 3.8 T. oz.

It was made by Newark, New Jersey's William B. Kerr, circa 1905, which was a firm renowned for its Art Nouveau designs, both in silver flat and hollow ware as well as jewelry.
