"God save our gracious Queen, Long live our Noble Queen" and I'll spare you the rest. Just be grateful that we don't have MP-3 files jangling away in the background! Here, the Queen is applied in gold on a field of concentric circles to a pair of round sterling cufflinks just shy of 5/8 inches in diameter. No monogram, very good condition, maker's mark SJR, London 1952.

with finely executed naturalistic engraving, matte finish, gilt interior, 2 3/4 inches high, top diameter: 2 inches, weight 3 oz. Troy, monogrammed "B.K" and something else (in Russian script) which you can see it in photo number three. A kind reader has told us that it means "to your health." There was one small dent that's been tapped out, and it's good work. Aside from that the condition is excellent. Click your mouse and then reach for the vodka; this is a lovely piece of silverware.

Philadelphia circa 1790, from the same service as item 0867 although the bright cut decoration is slightly different in execution, length 9 1/4 inches, immaculate condition.

silver polish. Folks often come into the shop and ask what I use to make all of our silver look so splendidly handsome. (Then again, there are others who want to know why the proprietor is so decidedly unkempt, but we won't get into that.) An American Beauty Rose orange (?) spoon 6 3/16 inches monogrammed "MMM" (front) and "Apr. 20 '06" (reverse). The birth month spoon pictured alongside has been sold.

Bored and in need of a new game? How about one that doesn't require a computer or, for that matter, electricity? Measuring 4 3/8 by 1 1/8 by 1 3/8 inches, this set will fit easily into your purse or briefcase, but at 31 oz. Troy (that's two pounds, two ounces in lay terms) it may weigh you down a bit. The case has some minor dents, as one might expect, from its occupants which are small and dense. There is also a spot on the "M" where the engraver bore down too hard and went through the cover...

Let's be optimistic and start off with the bull, which measures one inch long by 5/8 high, excluding pedestal. He is fully three dimensional and sports a pair of small (approximately 6 points each) but fully cut diamonds as befits such an enthusiastic fellow. The base is hand engraved with two stock symbols and prices: V 13 1/4, C 64, which no doubt had fond associations for the original owner. Next the bear, just shy of 5/8 inches long and 1/2 inch high excluding pedestal, this little beast...

circa 1860, with hollow handle and finely engraved flat all silver blade; marked "R & W WILSON" in rectangle; length 11 1/2 inches; engraved "Woelpper" on reverse of blade, good condition although the edge is a bit rough (please see second enlargement).

Excellent condition, monogrammed "Theodora", looks like an ocean liner up there on your screen but actual length is 3 1/2 inches. Not an easy piece to find in this pattern.
